Christopher Peter

South African 1954- 

Christopher Peter is the retired director of the Irma Stern Museum at the University of Cape Town. He is well known for his love of floral arrangement and has now launched a new venture into art making. His work was exhibited in a successful exhibition at the Everard Read Gallery in Cape Town in early 2024. Peter’s world of private reverie and love of the use of pencil crayon emerges in his compositions.
