Lindsay Petersen

South African 1986- 

Lindsay Petersen was born in the small town of Pniel, near Stellenbosch in the Western Cape. She obtained her B-Tech degree in photography from the Cape Peninsula University of Technology, with her final thesis focusing on preserving history in her small town by creating portraits and collecting stories from the residents. She has always been fascinated with portraiture and finds people’s ways of expressing themselves most captivating; every face can tell a story and show emotion without smiling or frowning.
