Mbali Tshabalala

South African 1988- 

Mbali Tshabalala is a versatile artist, curator, and creative entrepreneur with a Bachelor's Degree in Fine and Applied Art from the Tshwane University of Technology. Her artistic journey has earned her recognition, including being featured in the 2019 Latitudes Limited Edition collaboration with David Krut Projects. She was also a Thami Mnyele Fine Art Award top 100 list nominee in 2019. Tshabalala's practice combines art and curation, and she has curated exhibitions such as the Young Capital banner of The Johannesburg Fringe. She studied printmaking at the Artist Proof Studio, has a Graphic Design background, and founded Collective UNTITLD and Anecdotes Gallery. With seven years of curatorial experience in Pretoria, Cape Town, and Johannesburg, Tshabalala continues to make her mark in the art world.
