Muriithi Samuel Muiga

Kenyan 1996- 

Born in Nanyuki Town, Kenya, artist Muriithi Samuel is now based in Nairobi. He studied fine art and design at Kenyatta University, majoring in painting.

Samuel believes that the objects, activities and people that surround us exemplify the societies we live in, and this is reflected in his impressionistic work. He is strongly influenced by his daily experiences and societal changes in his environment and depicts day-to-day life and local activities in his community.

Muriithi has participated in several exhibitions in Kenya, including the Yellow Exhibition at Oneoff gallery, Manjano at the Alliance Française, and the Souk pop-up exhibition at the Karen Country.
