Patricia Domínguez

Chilean 

Patricia Domínguez, born in 1984 in Santiago, Chile, is an artist whose experimental work blends myths, symbols, and healing practices with research in ethnobotany and quantum physics. She uses watercolours, ceramics, sculptural assemblages, and video installations to explore the connections between humans, plants, and the cosmos. Domínguez received her Master’s degree from Hunter College in New York City and a Botanical Illustration Certificate from the New York Botanical Garden. She is the founder of Studio Vegetalista and her recent exhibitions include shows at the Museum of Latin American Art (MOLAA) in Long Beach, California, the Gropius Bau in Berlin, Germany, and the Wellcome Collection in London.
