About this Item
After nearly two decades at Tokara’s helm, Miles Mossop had the time to fine-tune his own brand. Miles Mossop Wines was established in 2004 with the vision to create wines unique in character, expressing the true nature of South Africa and the sites from which the grapes are sourced. It is a family business with Miles Mossop as winemaker and viticulturist including wines that are named after Miles and Samantha Mossop's three children.
‘This is our flagship range of wines dedicated to my family which is one of the most important things in my life.’ Miles Mossop. Each wine in this contemporary range of fine wine bears the name of a family member. Each an expression of the highest quality in their style, reflecting a sense of place and unmistakably South African. Produced with fruit forward character, balance, texture and age-ability in mind.

Critics Ratings
The 2011 Saskia is a blend of 71% Chenin Blanc, 24% Viognier and 5% Clairette. To be honest, the bouquet is giving very little away at the moment and seemed a little subdued despite rigorous coaxing. The palate compensates with a vibrant citrus-fresh opening: lemon peel, Clementine and a touch of white peach with a lovely crisp finish. The bouquet finally awakens, so I would recommend decanting this for an hour or two to get the most. Very fine – but be patient. – 90/100 Neal Martin, eRobertParker.com 2013
