Critics Ratings
‘Expressive aromatics of red and black berries, fynbos, flowers, some meatiness, spice and just a hint of malt. The palate is intense but not weighty, the fruit still quite dense although there’s no shortage of freshness, the tannins fine-grained and pleasantly mellow. Lots of detail.’ - Christian Eedes, 95/100 (Apr 2022)
‘A wine that surprised as well as delighted me, this is a deftly blended cuvée of Shiraz, Pinotage and Cabernet Sauvignon that’s still very much alive. Sandalwood and balsam aromas segue into a palate that’s earthy, leafy and very complex, with filigree tannins, lots of spicy, wild herb top notes and layers of plum, pastille and raspberry fruit. Bright, tangy and energetic, it has very impressive palate length.’ - Tim Atkin MW, 95/100 (Apr 2022)
