Critics Ratings

'Lots happening on the nose with some floral lift before red and black cherry, cassis, caramel, earth and spice. The palate shows impressive depth of fruit appearing rich and round with well-integrated acidity and tannins that have resolved nicely.' - Christian Eedes, 95/100 (Apr 2022)

'The sort of wine that you want to put in front of people who doubt Pinotage’s pedigree and its ability to age in bottle, this is a stunning red with more than 50 years under its belt. Aromas of blood and iron segue into a palate of aromatic baking spices, fresh leather and red berries with a nip of savoury tannins on the finish.' - Tim Atkin MW, 95/100 (Apr 2022)

Well – amazingly alive! Coffee, chocolate, red fruits, lovely nose. Definitely has that peculiar rubber note – but much more than that too.’  - Richard Hemming MW, JancisRobinson.com, 17/20
