Founded in 1682, Rustenberg Estate on the Simonsberg foothills is one of the most historic and picturesque farms in South Africa. Rustenberg is family-owned with son of Peter Barlow, Simon, owning the estate and grandson, Murray (2 x Diners Club Young Winemaker of the Year) now cellar master.

Critics Ratings

'Hugely complex aromatics of red and black berries, some leafiness, dried herbs, meat stock, earth and spice. The palate is full but wonderfully composed – the fruit is still present, and this is offset by lovely fine tannins. With layers of flavour and great length, this is a wine that combines power with refinement.' - Christian Eedes, 96/100 (Apr 2022)
