About this Item

2014 Morey-Saint-Denis
4 (1 x 4) 750ml

In 1880, a 22-year-old Joseph Drouhin settled in Beaune and founded his own wine company. His son Maurice succeeded him and established a domaine for the Drouhin house by buying land in outstanding appellations including the famous Clos des Mouches and Clos de Vougeot. Today, 4th generation Véronique Drouhin continues the family’s prestigious Burgundy legacy. With 73 hectares of biodynamically-farmed vines, Joseph Drouhin is one of Burgundy’s largest estates. With vineyards in close to 90 different appellations, Drouhin offers a fascinating array of Burgundy terroirs.

Critics Ratings

'Mid crimson. Scented, subtle, dark-red fruit. The first wine in this line-up where the tannins have felt firmer and in need of time to mellow, though even now they are so smooth. Just a light grip and lovely fluid freshness through the middle. Lightish and in balance.' - Julia Harding MW, JancisRobinson.com, 16/20.
