Critics Ratings
William Fèvre Chablis Bougros 2010
'Delicate, mineral, peppery nose. Fragrant in a non-fruity way. Fine-grained and quite austere on the palate. Lean and long. Needless to say, it needs time to develop complexity.' - Julia Harding MW, JancisRobinson.com, 16.5+/20, (Jan 2012)
William Fèvre Chablis Bougros 2012
'Very smoky - a touch reductive. Extremely tight and zesty, pretty streamlined for Bougros but there's power and deep, bright citrus. Pure and long.' - Julia Harding MW, JancisRobinson.com, 17/20, (Jan 2014)
'Lean and bracing, offering lemon, apple, honey and flint flavors matched to a vivid structure. Incisive and intense, leaving a chalklike feel on the palate. Best from 2016 through 2028.' - Bruce Sanderson, Wine Spectator, 93/100 (Aug 2014)
William Fèvre Chablis Bougros 2014
'The 2014 Chablis Grand Cru Bougros has an attractive bouquet with scents of apple peelings, cold steel and flint-like aromas--austere, but nicely focused. The palate is well balanced with crisp acidity, fine definition and harmony, gently building in the mouth towards what is quite an elegant and saline finish. Give this a couple of years in bottle and you should have a fine Bougros on your hands.' - Neal Martin, Wine Advocate, 92/100 (Aug 2016)
'This light-footed white delivers apple, stone and spice flavors that are intense and long. Vivid acidity keeps this defined, while the fruit and mineral elements persist. Drink now through 2018.' - Bruce Sanderson, Wine Spectator, 90/100 (Jun 2016)
