Le Mesnil Blanc de Blancs is a type of Champagne that is made exclusively from white Chardonnay grapes grown in the Grand Cru village of Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, located in the Côte des Blancs region of Champagne, France. Le Mesnil Blanc de Blancs is considered to be one of the finest examples of this type of Champagne due to the high quality of the Chardonnay grapes grown in this particular region.

Critics Ratings

'Bright yellow. Intensely perfumed, mineral-accented aromas of dried lemon, pear, chamomile and anise, with a smoky overtone. Pliant, deeply pitched citrus and orchard fruit flavors are complimented by suave floral and buttered toast qualities and sharpened by a chalky nuance. The toasty note carries through a strikingly long, creamy finish, which leaves notes of pear skin and lemon curd behind.' - Josh Raynolds, Vinous, 92/100 (Nov 2013)
