About this Item
Dom Pérignon is produced by Moët & Chandon - one of the largest Champagne producers in the world. The name Dom Pérignon comes from a 17th-century monk who developed various winemaking techniques which were used to enhance the quality of wines. Dom Pérignon Champagnes always consist of Pinot noir, Chardonnay, and one other grape variety. The Champagne is always a vintage as each bottle showcases the vintage’s unique characteristics.

Critics Ratings
'Deep orangey salmon pink. Hedonistic and rich though not that fizzy. Almond flavour and masses of pleasure.' - Jancis Robinson MW, JancisRobinson.com, 19/20 (Jun 2022)
'A beautiful orange pink color sets the scene for this intense rosé. It has maturity now, but certainly not old age, retaining great swathes of fresh red currant and grapefruit to go with the toast that is just showing. It is sophisticated and full-bodied, a wine that commands attention.' - Roger Voss, Wine Enthusiast, 94/100 (Dec 2008)
'The 1998 Dom Perignon Rose is a striking, intensely perfumed wine redolent of sweet candied cherries and spices. This medium-bodied wine possesses gorgeous structure, and ideally another year or two of cellaring is warranted in order for the full range of aromas and flavors to emerge. The Dom Perignon Rose is 80% Chardonnay and 20% Pinot Noir, with most of the Pinot coming from the south-facing vineyards of Ay. Anticipated maturity: 2010-2020.' - Antonio Galloni, Wine Advocate, 94/100 (Dec 2008)
