Barreyres Haut-Médoc 2003
Beaumont Les Tours de Beaumont, Haut-Médoc 2014
‘Pretty dark purplish crimson. Broad, luscious nose. Energetic and well balanced even if only medium weight and medium ambition. Easy to like with attractive fairly open fruit, even if hardly complex or long term. Drying finish with grainy, sandy tannins.’ - Jancis Robinson, JancisRobinson.com, 16/20 (Apr 2015)
‘The Château Beaumont 2014 has a slightly pinched nose at first, but there are appreciable dense blackberry and raspberry aromas interwoven with cedary new oak that surface with aeration. The palate is medium-bodied with good weight in the mouth. It is not a complex Haut-Médoc but it dishes out freshness and crisp acidity, flavoursome and savory black fruit fanning out nicely on the finish. "Good Claret" - as they say.’ – Neal Martin, Wine Advocate, 88-90/100 (April 2015)
Mähler-Besse La Couronne Saint-Émilion 2011
‘Solid, with fleshy plum, blackberry and cherry confiture flavors, studded with roasted vanilla and anise notes. Briary grip lines the finish. Drink now through 2017.’ – James Molesworth, Wine Spectator, 88/100 (Mar 2014)
Sénéjac Haut-Médoc 2014
'This is a structured wine that has both firm tannins and ripe black plum fruits. It is concentrated and serious, the wood aging and the fruit tannins giving a lift and richness to the spicy fruit. The estate, dating to the 17th century, has 96 acres. Drink from 2021.' - Roger Voss, Wine Enthusiast, 91/100 (Apr 2017)
