Two Japanese champlevé enamel sleeve vases, Meiji period, 1868-1912
one decorated with wave-shaped panels of alternating geometric fan, foliage and prunus blossom motifs, moulded lip and footrim, the other moulded with diamond-shaped panels against a cell-diaper ground, the upper section with four medallions centred by a shi-shi, moulded lip and footrim, signed, restoration, the taller 31cm high
