painted with a central roundel in underglaze-blue with a figure in the foreground before buildings and a rocky outcrop, enclosed by a zig-zag, dot and foliate border, the rim with three fan-shaped panels of a small bird beneath prunus blossoms enclosed by iron-red foliate borders with medallions decorated with bamboo, the reverse with Buddhist emblems and blue-line borders, firing faults, 39cm diameter
