An Anglo-Indian engraved ivory work-box, late 18th/early 19th century, Vizagapatam
rectangular, the hinged top centred by a raised tablet and engraved with flowers and foliage, the sandalwood-lined interior with removable tray fitted with three covered and open compartments, a spindle, thimble and velvet-lined pin cushion, the sides similarly engraved, hairlinecracks to ivory, 7,5cm high, 20cm wide, 15cm deep
