Located in the Elgin Valley within Kogelberg Biosphere, Shannon Vineyards is owned by brothers Stuart and James Downes. James and Kevin Watt form the illustrious viticulturist team and the winemakers are the illustrious Gordon and Nadia Newton Johnson. They follow a philosophy of minimal intervention allowing them to produce wines with a distinct character.
This Merlot is referred to as a ‘Cape Benchmark’ and regarded as one of SA’s best Merlot’s, it has multiple Platter’s Guide 5* awards. 2 bottles of each.
