About this Item
Perched just beneath Constantia Nek, this picturesque boutique wine estate has been part of the Constania valley’s great tradition of winegrowing since 2000. The Waibel family must be credited for turning this farm around and placing it under the steady eye of overseer and Bordeaux legend, Dominique Hebrard, with Justin van Wyk’s skilled hand in the cellar. The flagship range aptly named Two, Three and Five, according to the combination of Bordeaux varietals in the blend make up has quickly garnered strong following for their consistent power and detail.
The Constantia valley is known for producing world class Bordeaux-styled white blends, combining Sauvignon Blanc with Semillon, as this Two is a shining example of.

‘12 (4.5*) from 71% Sauvignon Blanc, 29% Semillon has good palate weight, coated acidity. Lots going on including notes of peach & tangerine, hint of spice. Better balanced & hence that much more convincing than 11.’ – Platter’s SA Wine Guide 2014, 4.5*
‘The 2012 Two is a blend of 71% Sauvignon Blanc and 29% Semillon that is fermented in barrel. It has a vivacious, almost shimmering bouquet with fresh lime, white peach and minerals. Just give it 30 minutes aeration and it attains an almost crystalline delineation. The palate is supremely well-balanced with the two varieties working in harmony – the Sauvignon lending the malic bite while the Semillon lends fatness and resinous tones toward the focused finish that will leave you wanting another sip. This is just a top-class Sauvignon blend. Bravo. Drink now-2017.’ – Neal Martin, Wine Advocate (October 2013), 90/100
