Critics Ratings

'(Cabernet Sauvignon with Merlot and Cabernet Franc) Saturated ruby-red. Sappy blackcurrant, black raspberry, liquorice and mineral aromas offer great verve. Dense, lush and suave, with compelling sweetness and velvety, mouthfilling texture. Finishes with superb lingering sweetness; substantial horizontal tannins spread out to coat the palate. Should make a worthy successor to the outstanding '98.' - Stephen Tanzer, Vinous.com, 92+/100 (2003)

'Mid shaded ruby with lots of evolution at the rim. Very attractive minerals on the nose and a lovely dry finish and no excess sweetness or simplicity, Complex, mineral wine. Very Bordelais I must say - and not a hint of burnt rubber! Definitely needs food but this a very serious wine. Doesn't taste as strong as 14.5%.' - Jancis Robinson 17.5/20 (2011)
