Critics Ratings
'Ripe, meaty merlot tones on 05 (37% with 36% cab, 27% cab f) but big tannins, moderate substance suggest best opened in next 2-3 yrs. 3 years in used French oak.' – Platter’s SA Wine Guide 2011, 4*
'Displaying a wonderful tension and minerality with excellent poise and structure, the Kallista 2005 is possible the finest vintage I have tasted. Tasted alongside to a top flight Chateau Palmer, it held its own with length and elegance. It will age well for a couple decades.' - Roland Peens 95/100 (2018)
