About this Item

1963 Cabernet Sauvignon
6 (1 x 6) 375ml

With its history dating back to 1692, Lanzerac Wine Estate is one of South Africa’s most famous properties. Their signature ‘ten-pin’ shaped bottle from the 60s and 70s is unique and the wines within have stood the test of time. Lanzerac produced the first commercial Pinotage in the world with the 1959.

This 1963 was one of the final few to be bottled at Lanzerac, with production on the farm ceasing in the early 1970s, making this truly a collector’s item. The 1963 is mature and elegant with ample Cabernet Sauvignon character and savoury nuances.
