This lot consists of the following wines:

Ayala Cuvee Perle D'Ayala 2001 (2 x 750ml) (Disgorged December 2007)
A prestige cuvée has to be a masterpiece. The Cuvée Perle d'AYALA deserves its name and the House is a jewel in Champagne. Grapes are sourced from Grands Crus only. What makes the Perle so unique is that it is aged in the cellars with a natural cork closure, which enables the wine to have an exchange with the air and to develop beautiful and complex aromas. The disgorgement is done by hand, as it was done in the past.

Ayala Rose Majeur (1 x 750ml)
Rosé Majeur marvelously embodies the originality and refinement of the House’s wines. Its uniqueness stems from a blend made up of 50% Chardonnay, the House’s iconic grape variety.The Pinots Noirs, originating from the best crus on the Montagne de Reims.
Rosé Majeur is primarily a sweet treat, with a subtle dosage.This still wine is elaborated exclusively from the Pinot Noir of Aÿ, a Grand cru characterised by the legendary generosity of its fruit.The low dosage, a trademark of the House, here underlines the beautiful freshness and elegance of a great rosé blend.

Ayala Zero Dosage (1 x 750ml) (Disgorged June 2007)
To show the exceptionally high quality and purity of grapes used by the House to create its wines, a Brut Nature has been created based on the blend of Brut Majeur. Zero Dosage Champagne which means that no sugar is added at disgorgement. Crus such as Cramant for Chardonnay, Aÿ and Bouzy for Pinot Noir and Venteuil for Pinot Meurier have been used. These villages are some of the highest rated on the Echelle des Crus scale. The wine then spends an average of 4 years ageing on its lees plus 3 months resting after disgorgement.
