About this Item
The R.D cuvée (Recently Disgorged) is the perfect illustration of the richness and complexity of the wines of Champagne. Aged between eight and fourteen years, the R.D keeps intact the rich flavours from a long time in the bottle. This bottle was disgorged in May 2000.

Critics Ratings
'Dark gold. Very, very mushroomy. Dense and much drier than the Pol 1990. Nervy and complex. Wonderfully long. Maybe this would have been better with the oysters than the sweeter Pol. Yeasty and long and dry. So subtle and nuanced. Very nervy.' - Jancis Robinson MW, JancisRobinson.com, 19/20 (Jul 2010)
'Mature and nutty in character, this 1988 exhibits a firm texture and an elegant stature, a fine backdrop for the roast coffee, hazelnut and citrus flavors. Dry style.' - Bruce Sanderson, Wine Spectator, 92/100 (Nov 2001)
