Monis Collector's Port 1948 - Established in 1906, Monis is the Cape's oldest fortified brand, a record R68 000 was paid for a single case of 6 x 750 ml bottles of Monis Collectors Port 1948, at the 2011 Nederburg Auction. Only 5,000 bottles were produced and this is another legendary SA wine. Limited Edition No 3940.

Defined, fresh and detailed, it astounded us with waves of complexity wafting from the glass: candied figs, melon rind, nuts, molasses and a touch of cold coffee. The palate is rich, but not sticky while the finish is deep, spicy and delicious!
