with curved toprail above four vertical splats, string seat, on square-section tapering legs joined by an H-shaped stretcher, peg sticking out, two side stretchers and mid stretcher replaced, one splat cracked; and a Cape yellowwood side chair, 19th century, the slightly curved toprail above a vertical splat, caned seat, tapering square-section legs joined by an H-shaped stretcher, front left leg with missing knot, notch missing from left top 4cm on the edge, moulding missing from back seat rail, stretcher is loose
