A Victorian three-piece silver tea set, Martin, Hall & Co, London, 1869
comprising: a teapot, a milk jug and a two-handled sugar bowl, each ovoid-shaped body moulded with c-scrolls, fruit and foliage, centred by a vacant cartouche, the cover with beaded rim surmounted by an urn-shaped finial, leaf-capped scroll handle, raised on a conforming circular foot, engravings removed, dents, the teapot 21,5cm high, 1360g all in; and a silver-plated coffee pot, T.W, the ovoid body moulded with six oval vacant cartouches enclosed by swags of berries and trailing foliage, the cover with a wavy beaded rim surmounted by a pineapple finial, c-scroll and beaded handle, raised on a lobed spreading foot, split, engraved 4327, 26cm high
