Critics Ratings
'Exquisitely textured with a chalky minerality, 14 interleaves crisp citrus fruit & wood spice (22% new oak) with a stern acidity. Poised & elegant, it will reward ageing.' - Platter's SA Wine Guide 2016, 5*
'Like all the Newton Johnson Chardonnays, this went through malolactic fermentation, producing a wine that’s textured and comparatively soft, with a structure that is more Meursault than Puligny-Montrachet. Oatmealy and spicy, it finishes with a lick of acidity.' - Tim Atkin SA Wine Report 2015, 93/100
