About this Item
Domaine Dujac was established in 1967 by Jacques Seysses when he purchased Domaine Marcel Graillet, a poor estate of only 4.5 hectares, and renamed it Domaine du Jacques. Overtime, the name evolved into Domaine Dujac – a playful moniker. Today, they hold around 14.5 hectares and cultivate 18.5 hectares in total. Buying parcels as they became available, the domaine expanded over the years and now owns some of the most exceptional holdings, including the Grands Crus of Echézeaux, Bonnes-Mares, Clos Saint Denis, Romanée-Saint-Vivant, Charmes-Chambertin and Clos de la Roche. Aiming for elegance, finesse and complexity, the quality of their seven Grands Crus is a testament to the domaine being one of the Burgundy’s leading producers.

Critics Ratings
Domaine Dujac Premier Cru Gevrey-Chambertin Aux-Combottes 2007
‘A subtle touch of wood spice frames bright, fresh, airy and cool aromas of mostly red berry fruit, underbrush and an attractive stoniness that transfers over to the nicely rich flavors that possess slightly better volume on the sappy and long flavors that culminate in a punchy and rather delicate finish.’ – Allen Meadows, Burghound.com, 89/100 (2009)
Domaine Dujac Premier Cru Vosne-Romanée Aux Malconsorts 2007
‘The 2007 Vosne-Romanée Aux Malconsorts 1er Cru is tasted from magnum. It has a similar bouquet to the debut 2006 with a slightly ferrous tincture, although there is a little more intensity here compared to previous vintages, hints of tomato vine developing alongside the light, tertiary red fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with tart red cherries and strawberry. This is a pretty Aux Malconsorts, more appealing than the 2006 with a lithe red cherry and strawberry finish, orange rind furnishing the aftertaste. Tasted at Flint Wines's Domaine Dujac tasting in London.’ – Neal Martin, Vinous.com, 91/100 (2010)
Domaine Dujac Premier Cru Vosne-Romanée Les Beaux Monts 2007
‘Pale red. Subtle perfume of red berries, cherry and flowers. Sweet, bright and energetic, with excellent cut to the complex flavors of raspberry, flowers and aromatic spices. I like this wine's long, subtle, rising finish and floral perfume.’ – Stephen Tanzer, Vinous.com, 91/100 (2010)
Domaine Dujac Premier Cru Chambolle-Musigny Les Gruenchers 2007
‘Somewhat surprisingly, the aromatic profile here is a clear step up in elegance with an airy and beautifully layered mix of red and blue fruit that carries obvious mineral and floral notes over to the firm, delicious and detailed medium-bodied flavors that possess a bit more depth and length though the differences are minor. A pretty wine with a solid tannic spine that is very Chambolle in basic character.’ – Allen Meadows, Burghound.com, 89-92/100 (2009)
