1993 Pauillac
8 (1 x 8) 750ml
Chateau Lynch Bages, a Fifth Cru Classé, is one of the best-known Médoc estates and has always had a particularly strong following in Britain. The Pauillac producer is considered classically styled and long-aging. Since 1973 it has been owned by the enigmatic Jean-Michel Cazes and is now run by his son, Jean-Charles.

Critics Ratings
‘This has a lovely, smoky, cigar box nose inflecting the dense blackberry and briary fruit. Good definition. There is superb minerality here. The palate is full-bodied, firm tannins, blackberry, iodine, a touch of liquorice and spice. Nice cohesion towards the finish, very good concentration and focus although it needs time.’ - Neal Martin, Wine Advocate, 91/100 (Sept 2009)
