A Chinese inside-painted glass snuff bottle, late 19th/early 20th century
the front painted with a phoenix amongst chrysanthemums, the reverse painted with a panda, bamboo and blossom, the shoulders carved with yellow mask-and-ring handles, yellow-line borders, raised on an oval footrim, 5,7cm high; and a Chinese blue-glass overlay snuff bottle, carved through the blue overlay with contesting dragons above stylised waves, raised on an oval footrim, the neck with metal collar, 6,5cm high
