set to the centre with a circular famille-rose plaque enamelled with medallions of flowers and fruit within a foliate ground enclosed by foliate borders, the frieze carved with birds and prunus blossom, the side supports carved with flowerheads and bamboo motifs above arched lappets, on four ogee bracket feet, 52cm high, 44,5cm diameter
