A Chinese ivory 'champion' vase and cover
the sides of the double cylindrical body applied with a pair of carved dragon-and-ring handles, the front carved with taotie mask-and-ring handle, accented with cabochon-cut turquoise stone bosses, the reverse carved with contesting dragons before fret-key borders, the conjoined covers united by a pair of contesting dragons, 46,5cm high
