A bound book with 28 woodcuts by Cecil Skotnes, 6 poems and text by Stephen Gray, based on ideas by Denis Godfrey. These woodcuts were printed from 2 to 5 colours on Zerkal Buetten paper by Egon Guenther, hand bound in Oasis goat skin by Peter Carstens, Johannesburg, August 1975-January 1979, edition numbered to 75 copies. This copy is numbered 29, each woodcut signed and numbered 29/75 in pencil in the margin, the title page signed by both the artist and poet. Presented with a card and linen slip-cover. 39,5 by 55,5cm.
