Notes
Construction of the manor house Glen Conner, now known as 'Old Nectar', began in the 1700s and continued into the 1800s. It has been home to the Van der Spuy family since 1941 and is famous for its extensive gardens, developed by the doyenne of South African horticulture Una Van der Spuy over more than 70 years.
