A Victorian red-glass and silver-gilt-mounted scent bottle, Sampson Mordan & Co, London, 1856
with waisted hexagonal incurved sides, enclosed by diamond-shaped borders, with hinged top engraved with scrolling foliage and flowerheads inscribed MORDAN & CO, LONDON, lacking stopper, minor chips, 9,7cm high; and a clear cut-glass and yellow guilloché enamel scent bottle, .935, the oval body cut with diamonds, printies and octagonal faceted roundels, the hinged cover enclosing a later faceted glass stopper, stamped 935, the guilloché enamel with damage, 6,4cm high
