On the crest of the Helshoogte Pass is the picturesque wine farm of Tokara owned by ex-banker GT Ferreira. Tokara’s first vines were planted in 1998 with a state-of-the-art winery erected shortly thereafter. Tokara has been consistently recognised as one of South Africa's top wineries.
Vivid garnet with a ruby rim framing a stunning depth of colour. The nose offers a mélange of red and black fruits with hints of dried herbs, cedar wood and graphite. This Bordeaux-style blend offers flavours of dark cherries, raspberries and black currants with fine tannins and a generous, classically dry finish.
