“Volgens die inskripsie op Cold Man at the Sea, wat ons by die volgende jaar se uitstelling aangekoop het, lei ek af dat dit ’n skets was wat hy in 1986 reeds gemaak het en in 1999 met waterverf en pastel oorgewerk het.”
