Notes

Azael Langa is a practising artist and an entrepreneur, based in Johannesburg South Africa. He studied at East Rand School of the Arts in Benoni, South Africa and subsequently went on to study Fine and Applied Art at Tshwane University of Technology. Langa has participated in art fairs locally and internationally and featured in several galleries around South Africa, recently at the group exhibition AIR curated by the Alliance Française in March 2021. His works reflect the socio-political reality of South Africa through various mediums including smoke drawing, an art form he has mastered as his signature medium.
