circular, the centre enamelled with a rondel enclosing a pair of finches against a turquoise ground enclosed by alternating pink and blue panels decorated with chrysanthemums and multiple butterflies, bordered by kiku and scrolling foliage, the reverse enamelled with stylised panels of birds and flowers, raised on a low footrim with a zig-zag border, the rim damaged and chipped, enamel loss, 18cm diameter
