'The 2013 Mrs M Pinot Noir comes from a single vineyard on the estate. It offers candied red cherries, bergamot and fresh strawberry on the enticing nose, the best of Newton's recent released Pinots. The palate is well balanced with supple ripe red berry fruit, a touch of spice, well-judged acidity and a structured finish that is neatly enmeshed with the Pommard-like fruit.
