Critics Ratings

'This is at once the most elegant and the most complex wine in the range with its ripe, pure and airy aromas of white flower, wet stone, spice and lemon/lime nuances where, in textbook Perrières fashion, the minerality also permeates the textured, concentrated and refined medium-bodied flavors that possess incredible precision on the almost painful and hugely long finish. Roulot makes the most understated version of Perrières among the top guns and this is destined to be a classic. Or, more prosaically stated, this is a genuine 'wow' wine. Drink: 2022+.' - Allen Meadows, Burghound.com, 93-96/100 (Jun 2012)

'The 2010 Meursault Perrieres wraps around the palate with huge, seamless layers of fruit. It boasts stunning textural depth and pure richness from start to finish. There is so much sheer intensity of the fruit that the minerality appears virtually hidden. Although the density of the fruit is impressive, this isn't a particularly elegant or refined Perrieres by Roulot standards, at least not today. Roulot explains that the Perrieres was the last of his wines to finish its malolactic fermentation. In my view it is a bit heavy, although the truth is that most growers would kill to have a wine like this in their cellars. Anticipated maturity: 2015+.' - Antonio Galloni, Wine Advocate, 94/100 (Aug 2012)
