About this Item
Domaine Dujac was established in 1967 by Jacques Seysses when he purchased Domaine Marcel Graillet, a poor estate of only 4.5 hectares, and renamed it Domaine du Jacques. Overtime, the name evolved into Domaine Dujac – a playful moniker. Today, they hold around 14.5 hectares and cultivate 18.5 hectares in total. Buying parcels as they became available, the domaine expanded over the years and now owns some of the most exceptional holdings, including the Grands Crus of Echézeaux, Bonnes-Mares, Clos Saint Denis, Romanée-Saint-Vivant, Charmes-Chambertin and Clos de la Roche. Aiming for elegance, finesse and complexity, the quality of their seven Grands Crus is a testament to the domaine being one of the Burgundy’s leading producers.

Critics Ratings
‘Displaying a really lovely nose of floral, spice, earth and still wonderfully fresh red berry fruit aromas that possess only a trace of secondary character. There is equally good freshness to the vibrant, detailed and focused medium weight plus flavors that exhibit excellent depth and length on the strikingly long finish. This is an impressive wine that is clearly still on the way up yet it's sufficiently pliant that it could be enjoyed now. Note that while this could certainly be enjoyed now there is still some unrealized potential so I would advise continuing to hold.’ - Allen Meadows, Burghound.com, 94+/100 (Jun 2019)
‘The 2002 Clos de la Roche Grand Cru has a very detailed bouquet with ebullient red berry fruit, sous-bois, bay leaf and a very subtle hint of liquorice. This is a very “involving” nose, one that you easily lose yourself within. The palate is medium-bodied with supply tannin, notes of tea leaves, bay leaf and just a splash of balsamic infusing the red fruit. It leads to a nicely grippy, earthy finish that lingers in the mouth. Excellent.’ - Neal Martin, Vinous, 94/100 (May 2019)
