'A complex and elegant aromatic profile has now turned largely, if not completely, secondary with relatively concentrated medium weight flavors that are minerally, pure and beautifully detailed and while the acidity of the '96 vintage is present, it is not dominant and thus does not attenuate the otherwise long and delicious finish. There is good mid-palate density in the context of a vintage that was not naturally dense.
