About this Item
Rousseau is one of the small number of Burgundy estates to which I would unhesitatingly award three stars. Indeed as far as Chambertin and Clos de Bèze are concerned you could even argue that there is Rousseau, and then there are the rest. - Clive Coates MW

Critics Ratings
'This has really developed beautifully in the last few years, having deepened and broadened considerably as the nose now delivers a blast of herbal-infused and now largely secondary red and black fruit followed by nicely detailed light to barely medium weight flavors that offer solid length if limited power. This is not a sophisticated wine and is frankly all about the fruit though the flavors are certainly attractive in their fashion. A marginally better effort than Rousseau normally achieves with this wine and one that is drinking well now.' – Allen Meadows 88/100 April 2006
