Situated on the scenic slopes of the Helderberg mountain, Rust en Vrede is one of Stellenbosch’s oldest estates, dating back to 1694 and is today owned by Jean Engelbrecht. The fine Helderberg terroir produces concentrated and highly celebrated reds. Rust en Vrede was chosen by President Nelson Mandela to serve at the Nobel Peace Prize dinner and was the first red SA wine to be included in the Top 100 Wines of the World by Wine Spectator.
The cool and elegant 1992 vintage was made by Kevin Arnold.
