'The Maiden Jem is maturing perfectly. A luxurious, elegant and poised Stellenbosch red that balances savouriness and pure fruit. It's a powerful expression with a soft finish for drinking over the next 5 years.' - Roland Peens 92/100 (2019).
'Good deep, bright red. Redcurrant, tobacco and fresh herbs on the nose. Juicy, bright and nicely focused, with lovely lift to the flavors of black cherry, red berries, smoke, liquorice and mocha. Harmonious acidity gives the mid-palate a penetrating, primary quality. Sexy, vibrant wine, finishing with firm tannic spine and lovely palate-saturating flavor without weight. Lay this one down.' Stephen Tanzer, Vinous.com, 92+/100
