Critics Ratings
‘Terrific 1999, Grande Gold medalist at 2002 Concours Mondial. Blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc. Brilliant fusion of nutty chocolate-laced plum fruit, elegant new French oak (18 months) for soft tannins.’ - Platter’s SA Wine Guide 2003, 4.5*
'Mostly Cabernet Sauvignon, with 34% Merlot and 14% Cabernet Franc. Very spicy nose with a minty intensity and touch of eucalyptus. Glossy cassis fruit and touches of cedar wood and violet. The balanced palate has cool, pure black fruit and little nuances of almond and mineral. Fine length and complexity here.' - Tom Cannavan, Wine-pages.com, 92/100 (2002)
