Critics Ratings
‘It has a very well-defined nose with ripe red-berried fruit, and a touch of mint and cedar with very good lift. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins and very fresh. Whilst not a complex Cabernet, it is very restrained and has a pleasing, slightly muted cedar and black currant finish. This well crafted Cabernet should age nicely over 8-10 years. Drink now-2018.’ - Neal Martin, Wine Advocate, 90/100 (Aug 2011)
‘There's not a ton of assertive character to this wine aside from its gripping tannins and firm structure. The fruit is faint and shy, with notes of dark berries, black tea and licorice spice hiding in the background. Open well in advance, give it a good decant, or try cellaring for another couple of years before drinking.’ - Lauren Buzzeo, Wine Enthusiast, 87/100 (Jun 2011)
