An Imari bowl, 19th century
painted in typical palette, the centre "clobbered" and enamelled with pomegranates and plums, the wavy rim with floral panels, the reverse with a spray of peonies and fruit, spurious underglaze-blue six-character Chinese mark, 22cm diameter; and a Japanese blue and white dish, 20th century, with everted wavy rim, the centre painted with a building in a riverscape, the reverse with flower sprays, restoration to one corner, 25cm wide
